HOW DO I DOWNLOAD MY PURCHASE?

When you purchase a digital download from Design Pixie you will receive two emails from us.

Email One: This is your order confirmation, where you will find a "View Your Order" button. Click on this and you will be taken to your order where you can download your files.

Email Two: The second email from us will have a "Download Files" button which will take you straight to the download page.

Two easy options to access your downloads!

If you created an account at Design Pixie, your downloads will always be available in your account. Click the person icon top of the site (next to the shopping bag), click "Order Details" on the order you wish to download, then the bright "Download Files" button at the bottom of the order.

Shopping At Design Pixie

What happens when I buy a product from Design Pixie?

As soon as your payment has processed, you will receive an order confirmation email from Design Pixie.

For Instant Download Products: You will be able to download your files by either clicking the "View Order" button in your order confirmation email, or the "Download Files" button in the other email we sent.

For large products or Canva templates, you will download a PDF document. This will include a button link to Dropbox or Canva (depending on what you have purchased) which will take you to your product.

For Manually Sent Products: If you purchased a product that needs to be manually sent to you (eg. Wix and Squarespace templates), keep an eye out for the transfer email for this item.

How long do I have access to my digital downloads?

There is no set expiry date, however it is highly recommended that you download your files as soon as purchased, and backup your downloads on a USB to keep them safe.

Design Pixie does not guarantee lifetime download availability and will not re-send files once the products are no longer available to download.

What is your Refund Policy?

Due to the immediate, digital nature of the products sold at Design Pixie, refunds or exchanges will not be provided as digital items cannot be returned.

Please read the product description carefully before you make a purchase.

What is a Product License?

When you purchase a product from Design Pixie, you are purchasing it under set product license terms. These terms allow you to use the product in a particular way, and prohibit other types of use.

Product license terms are important to understand when using purchased products for commercial use.

If you use a product in a way that is prohibited by the license terms, you risk a copyright and/or licensing dispute.

The best way to avoid the above is to read the Product License terms for each category of product and ensure you understand and follow the terms of use.

I haven't received my download, what do I do?

Please contact with your order number and help will be provided within 2 business days.

Will you send a tax invoice for my order?

Please contact us with your order number and we can send that through to you.

What is a template?

A template is a pre-made design which you can edit yourself. You can change colors, fonts, text, graphics, images as well as move and remove within the design.

Templates are great as the design work is already done for you! Using a template will save you a tonne of time and you can do the fun part, which is styling it up to suit your brand!

What is Blog Pixie?

Design Pixie was previously known as Blog Pixie. We have since re-branded with a new look and new name!

What happened to my Blog Pixie account?

Blog Pixie is now known as Design Pixie under a new platform. Your Blog Pixie account is no longer available.

Purchases from your Blog Pixie account that are within the 3 month date of purchase can be emailed to you if you didn't get around to downloading the files, as per our previous Expiry Terms. Please get in contact.

Do you do custom logo design or custom website design?

I am currently unavailable for custom work. Please join the mailing list to hear when spots open up!

I sent you an email but I haven't heard back?

If you have contacted about a product you purchased and you didn’t provide your order number (requested in the contact form), your order cannot be looked up and therefore help cannot be provided. Please use the contact form again and provide your order number to receive assistance.

If your question is answered here in the Help Center, you may not receive an email response.

I sent you a DM on Instagram but I haven't heard back?

Due to the high volume of DMs received, you are unlikely to receive a response to a DM. If you have a question please use the contact form on the Contact page.

Do you accept guest posts on your blog?

Generally no, however I am always interested in hearing from likeminded creatives on ways we can partner to collaborate on each others websites.

Shopify Questions

What is included in a Shopify theme?

With your purchase of a Shopify theme you will download 3 files - a theme Zip file, a Canva banner templates PDF and and Installation Guide PDF.

There is only one Canva template included in my download, where are the rest?

You would have downloaded the Canva banner templates PDF. Don't open this PDF in Canva. Open it normally on your desktop (such as in a web browser) and you will see button links on the PDF. Click on each button link which will take you to each size of the banners in Canva.

I get an error when I try to install the theme, what is happening?

Make sure you are installing the correct file and it must be zip folder. The Installation Guide you received with your purchase will tell you what file you should be uploading to Shopify.

I can't see any zip folder to upload!

If you downloaded your Shopify Theme Purchase using the Safari browser, it will automatically unzip your theme zip folder. You just need to zip it back up again! It's the folder that contains all sorts of weirdly named files. Right click on that folder and click Compress to zip it back up again, ready to upload to Shopify.

I installed the theme file and my website doesn't look the same as the live demo site...

You have completed the first step of the Installation Guide, now move onto the rest! You must complete the full Installation Guide for your site to look like the live demo.

How do I get the logo design shown on the theme?

A logo is not included with a website theme or template. You can find logo templates here if needed. You will need to upload your own logo image.

If you can't find the design of the logo shown on the template you purchased and you would like your business name made in that design, please reach out for a custom option.

Wix Questions

When will I receive my new Wix template?

Within 24 hours! You will receive an email from Wix to the email address you provided before adding the item to your cart.

Wix templates are manually transferred daily, so please allow the 24 hours to receive it.

Once that email has been sent to you from Wix, you have 3 days to accept the transfer or it will expire and you will need to contact to have it re-sent.

It has been 24 hours and I still haven't received it, what do I do?

Please search for an email from Wix in your email account – it could be in the Inbox, Spam/Junkmail, Social or Promotions folders.

If your email address is on a custom domain (eg. you@yourwebsite.com) sometimes the Wix transfer email doesn't make it through, please contact me and I will give you the direct transfer link which will take you to the template immediately.

Can I get a new copy of the template sent to me? I need to start over.

You can revert to a previous saved version of your site with this tutorialhere.

It won't let me edit the logo on the template?

A logo is not included with a website template. You can find logo templates here if needed. You will need to upload your own logo image.

Squarespace Questions

It has been 24 hours and I still haven't received the template, what do I do?

You would have been sent two emails to the email address you entered before adding the item to your cart. One email is from the sender Squarespace, and the other is from the sender Design Pixie. Please check your Spam/Junkmail folder in case they ended up in there.

If you still can’t find the two emails, please contact me and I will confirm your email address for the transfer to make sure it is correct.

I already have a Squarespace website, can I install the template to my current site?

A Squarespace template can only be sent to you as a new website, it can’t be added into a website you already have. It can be sent to your current Squarespace account (you can have as many sites as you like in the one Squarespace account).

If you already have a domain through Squarespace (eg. www.yourwebsite.com), you can transfer the domain to the new website (so when people type in your domain they land at the new website instead of your old one).

I already paid for a plan on Squarespace, can I still use it?

When you purchase a plan on Squarespace, you are purchasing it for a particular site within your Squarespace account.

If it has been less than 30 days since you purchased the plan, you can request a refund from Squarespace for that plan and then purchase a plan on the new website/template.

Why can't I edit the logo on the template?

A logo is not included with a website template. You can find logo templates here if needed. You will need to upload your own logo image.

Canva Templates

What is Canva?

Canva is an easy-to-use design program for editing design documents. You can use it to create so many things for your business such as social media graphics, videos, eBooks, prints and so much more. It’s similar to Photoshop but much easier to use.

Canva is a drag and drop style program, where you can start with a blank canvas (like an artboard) and choose graphics, text and colors to drop into the space. You can also start with a template, where the design is already done for you.

Design Pixie has a range of Canva templates available for your business materials such as Instagram post templates, Thank you card templates, Business card templates and more.

Do I need to pay for a Canva Pro account to use your templates?

No, all Canva templates sold at Design Pixie can be used in the free version of Canva. Everything you see in the design (eg. fonts, graphics) will work in free Canva.

For the logo templates, if you want to download your logo with a transparent (clear) background, you will need a Canva Pro account as they don't allow you to do that in free Canva.

Canva have a free trial of their Pro version, so I'd recommend making use of that to see if you like Pro!

Can I use the fonts and graphics provided in the templates for other design work?

No, you only hold the license to use the fonts and graphics in the set templates only.

Why aren't the fonts available in the rest of Canva?

Design Pixie templates include custom fonts that are exclusive to our designs. If you wish to use the fonts outside the templates, please look for the font name in the font selection panel and then search for it on Google. Some are available here at Design Pixie and some are not.

Can I edit the templates and re-sell?

No. Design Pixie templates must not be used for re-sale.
