In today's post I'm sharing with you the best hashtags to get more likes and followers on Instagram. These are the top Instagram hashtags I've found that work best for my page, so I think they should work for you too! You can gain more Instagram likes if you develop a little hashtag routine for every time you post.
I have no shame going crazy with the hashtags on my Instagram posts. Why not? If you want your images to reach more people and you're trying to boost your Instagram followers, you need to get tagging. Especially as Instagram is gradually changing the way posts appear in your feed!
Do I think they work?.... As far as I've experienced, yes. For instance, if anyone is look for makeup flatlays for inspiration, they'll very likely search the hashtag #makeupflatlay and if you've recently done a post, they'll see your image. They may hit like, they may even follow you if they like your page.
It's important to tag brands, as a lot of brands/stores have a particular hashtag in their bio for you to use so they can find your posts featuring their products. You ultimately want them to find your posts, and if you're extra lucky, they'll repost you. Reposts = new followers. You can tag the brands you've featured both in the image, as well as using they hashtags underneath.
So I thought I'd share a couple of the hashtag categories I use quite often so you can simply copy and paste into the caption or a comment on your next Instagram post.

HOW I ADD THE TAGS
I have a page of tags in the Notes app on my phone. I have them in categories for each type of image I usually post (eg. Makeup, Flatlay, Interiors). Some hashtags are repeated, others are individually selected for each type of post.
When I'm about to post a new Instagram photo, I'll go to my Notes app where I've got all my hashtags. I'll find the category of the image I'm about to post, add any extra hashtags to it that I think suit the photo, then I'll copy that whole selection of hashtags, ready to paste. As soon as I post my Instagram photo I go straight to the comments, paste in the hashtags and post them as a comment (you have to be fast!).
I think adding them to a comment underneath is a lot better than adding them to your caption, as it can make you caption look really cluttered. If you refresh the post and your comment isn't there, it means you used too many hashtags.
